Today I’ve got fresh cuts of T-Bone Pruitt and the Rhythm Rockers recorded at Nick’s Ice House this past Friday night. Later he’s joined by Michael Blue AKA Big Daddy. Then we finish off with the Juvenators recorded live at the Mercury Room in Houston. Along the way, we’ll check in with deadmandancing.com to see what’s happening in the burg.

I'm missing the Delta Blues Festival as I write this. It seems that fate conspired to keep me in Hattiesburg. Oh well, the Lucky Pickles are playing tonight at Nick's Ice House and I am playing harmonica with them which I haven't done much lately. I just left tailgating at USM. There was a big crowd there. I think everyone just wants to forget about the hurricane for a little while and do something to feel normal. Last night I saw T-bone Pruitt at the Walnut Circle Grill. I miss Dave Morgan their harmonica player. He moved to Chicago recently.
