Sat, 21 October 2006 ![]() Today, I've got Tha 2 Zigg Zaggs from their new CD Ridin' High. They are joined on one track by Hattiesburg rapper Afroman. They have been his band for several years and their new CD combines funk and rap. Several other local rappers were pressed into service including Poboy, Strainj and Fatsoe. Also we'll hear from punk band Hoodcrowd. A staple in the Hattiesburg music for many years, their best known song "Bought a Bag on my Credit Card" is a local classic. Rap, funk and punk! Truely a South Mississippi Music Sampler. This one is for an adult crowd because of the language. Enjoy! Comments[1] |
